Ralph Edmund Hage
(December 10, 1948 - November 22, 2014)



Ralph Edmund Hage, 65, passed away November 22, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 12:00 pm Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Minister Danny Evans officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Ralph was born December 10, 1948 in Huntington, WV the son of the now deceased Felix and Gladys Hage. Also preceding him in death was his wife Betty Hage, and a brother Thomas Raymond Hage. He was a resident of Barboursville, WV. He was a member of Farmdale Church of Christ, and was a retired employee of the Cabell County Board of Education. He had been a devoted volunteer for Health South and worked at Kroger on Route 60. He was a member of the Huntington Lodge # 53 A.F. & A.M., Beni Keedem Shrine of Charleston, Scottish Rite, Huntington Chapter # 6 R.A.M., York Rite and Huntington Commandery # 9 K.T., 32 Degree Mason and a Kentucky Colonel. Ralph is survived by two sisters, Susan Joyce Hage of Huntington and Anne Wylie (Walter) of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Felix Joseph Hage (Mary) of Westerville, OH; nieces, Suzanne and Mark Houyoux, Jennie Harrison and Aimee and Ryan Szczerbacki. Also many close friends and acquaintances, especially Tom and Carol Parker and Melvin and Linda Perry, and his beloved companion, his Chihuahua, Sugar Baby. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, November 24, 2014.
