Camilla Jean Bailey, 67, of Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016, in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington. She was born November 27, 1948 in Cabell County, WV a daughter of the late Jim Christian and Mary Bayes Surgeon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit McClure Bailey and her maternal grandmother who raised her, Huldia Bayes (whom she called "Mom"). She was a member of First Guyandotte Baptist Church. Survivors include: her son, David (Teresa) Bailey of Huntington; four sisters, Alice (Thurman) Perry of Huntington, Patty (George) Poole of Williamson, WV, Paula (Herb) Seay of Barboursville, WV, and Pam Montee of Gautier, Mississippi; a brother, Joe (Kathy) Collins of Huntington; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews, including two special great nieces and a great nephew, whom she helped raise, Ali Kate, Abigail Grace, and Eli Perry; and a special close friend, Barbara Terry. Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 pm Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Paris McSweeney and Pastor Leo Skaggs officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 4:00 pm Saturday at Chapman's Mortuary.
