Eunice Elaine Combs, 79, of Barboursville, WV, died Friday August 26, 2016 in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 12:00 PM Tuesday August 30, 2016 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Eunice was born February 5, 1937 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Clarence and Viola Mae Irskine Effingham. She was a member of the Huntington Bulldog Association where her and her husband raised and showed English Bulldogs for years. She worked for Bloss and Dillard and was Senior underwriter for Buckeye Insurance Company. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas W. Combs, Jr. and one sister, Mary Johnson. Survivors include two sons, Stephen Combs and wife Karen of Barboursville and Mark Combs and wife Lisa of Salt Rock and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 12:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
