Larry Joe Tomblin, 41, of Huntington, husband of Brook Tomblin, died Sunday, August 21 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born May 11, 1975 in Huntington a son of Larry Joe McGuffin and the late Anyce Louise Tomblin. He was also preceded in death by the father who raised him, Odie Burd. He was a former construction worker. In addition to his wife survivors include his three children, Santara Tomblin, Anyce Elizabeth Tomblin, and Jay Carter Tomblin, all of Huntington; a sister, Beth McGuffin of Beckley, WV; his half-brothers, Fred McGuffin of Kentucky, and Bruce Ramey of North Carolina; and his mother and father-in-law, Terri and Bob Wallace. He had a deep love for his children, was a great father, and loved his family and friends. Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 520 11th Street, Huntington, WV 25701. Chapman's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
