Charles Leon Barbour 99, of Huntington, widower of Eva M. Barbour, passed away June 18, 2017 at the Village at Riverview, Barboursville. Born May 13, 1918 in Huntington, he was the son of the late Charles G. and Lena Fay Bowen Barbour. One daughter Nancy Maxwell, and one sister Emma Lou McGinnis also preceded him in death. He was a machinist at Houdaille Industries, and a US Army veteran. Survivors include two daughters, Pat Hughes of San Francisco, CA, and Jean Kintner of Westford, MA; one sister, Barbara Schmader, and one son-in-law, Bob Maxwell; two grandchildren, Anna Kintner and Sally Kintner. A committal service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, June 26, 2017, in Woodmere Memorial Park, with his cousin Pastor Keith Leap officiating. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
