Charlene Cremeans Whaley, 83, of Roswell, GA, formerly of South Point, OH, and Lexington, KY, died Thursday June 1, 2017 at Hearthstone Assisted Living, Roswell. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday June 9, 2017 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor David Frasure officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. Charlene was born December 21, 1933 in Hurricane, WV a daughter of the late Charles and Annie Daniels Cremeans. She retired from Melody T Farms after 40 years of service as their bookkeeper. She was a founding member of the Burlington Baptist Church of South Point, Oh, and later attended Immanuel Baptist Church in Lexington, KY. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Maynard, Dorothy Sovine and Phyllis Cremeans and three brothers, Dennis, Jim and Jack Cremeans. Survivors include her daughter, Jill Whaley Houchin and granddaughter, Ashley Houchin both of Woodstock, GA.. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Friday at Chapman's Mortuary.
