Janice Carroll Roach
(March 5, 1940 - June 4, 2017)

Janice C. Roach, 77, of Huntington, widow of Wade Hampton Roach, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017, in Cornerstone Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Chapman's Mortuary, with Pastor Tim Arthur Officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. She was born March 5, 1940, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Edgar and Bessie Sanders Baker. Two brothers Jennings and Golden also preceded her in death. She was a travel officer for the US Army Corp of Engineers, and was a member of the former 36th Street Tabernacle and Twenty-sixth Street Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Trisha and John Marnix of Crown City, OH; one granddaughter, Dana Marnix of Huntington; a brother and sister-in-law, Covel Dale and Elaine Baker of Murrells Inlet, SC. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 am to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
