Michael Stephen Freitag 36, of Huntington, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at home. A celebration of life service will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Missio Dei Church, with B.J. Erps officiating. Michael was born August 8, 1980 in Naperville, IL, a son of Stephen and Patricia Lake Freitag. He worked in the restaurant business. Survivors in addition to his parents include: 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Michelle and Dave Serpico of LaSalle, IL, Laura and Mike Barber of Petersburgh, NY, Julia Rose and James Halterman of Columbus, OH; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at Missio Dei Church, 26 Pullman Square Suite 207, Huntington, WV 25701, after 1:30 pm Sunday. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
