Obituary

John Alossi, Jr.
(December 24, 1928 - January 18, 2014)



John Alossi, Jr., 85, of Huntington, widower of Patricia Ann Alossi, passed away Saturday January 18, 2014, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born December 24, 1928 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late John Alossi, Sr. and Lillian Smith Alossi. John was a US Army Veteran of 17 years serving during the Korean War. He was a retired police dispatcher in California. In addition to his wife and parents he was also preceded in death by a sister Rosalee Evans. Survivors include a son Richard Lee Alossi and Christine Mueller of San Gabriel, California; two daughters and sons in law Rhonda and Roger Johnson and Tracy and Jack Sanford all of Huntington; ten grandchildren Patty, Renee, Ricky, Sevonne, Little Ricky, Amanda, Charlene, Nicole, Cristal and Justin; six great grandchildren Sage, Jerrod, Lilly, Jaxon, Logan and Cody; sister Catherine Adkins of Ohio and several nieces and nephews including Johnny Lee Evans of Barboursville.
