Thomas L. Wilkes
(August 16, 1959 - January 14, 2014)



Thomas L. Wilkes, 54, of Huntington, passed away suddenly January 14, 2014 as he prepared to play golf at the Sugarwood Golf Club. Born August 16th, 1959, in Huntington, he was the son of the late James D. and Grace E. Wilkes. Tom is survived by his beloved brother and spouse James R. and Denise Wilkes of Havre De Grace, MD, sister and spouse Beverly S. and William Beldon of Huntington, bother and spouse Theodore J. and Debbie Sizemore of Nicholasville, KY and dear friend Misty Deere and her daughter Brooke Porter of South Point, Ohio. Tom worked as a pressman for The Herald-Dispatch for several years. He was a member of the Graphic Communications Conference of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, serving as steward of Local H619. Tom had previously worked in home remodeling. Tom was an avid golfer, playing every day the weather would permit. Those who knew Tom would describe him as a wonderful friend and willing to help others in any way he could. There will be no visitation or service. Reger Funeral Home, Huntington is assisting the family.
