Jerry Lee Fannin
(July 19, 1939 - January 12, 2014)



Jerry Lee Fannin, 74, of Huntington, husband of Margaret Justice Fannin, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Ronnie Brown. Burial will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV. He was born July 19, 1939 in Huntington, WV a son of Melvin “Guy” Fannin and the late Anna Lee Adkins Fannin. Jerry was the manager of Tudors Restaurant on Adams Ave. in Huntington. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served during the Vietnam War. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by two brothers Dick Fannin and Ronnie Fannin. Additional survivors include four sons and three daughters in law Roger and Amy Fannin, Scott and Maria Fannin, Michael and Shawnya Fannin and Ronnie Fannin; daughter and son in law Stephanie and Fred Richards; five grandchildren Logan, William, Michael, Samantha and Tristan; sister in law Diane Fannin. He is also survived by his brother in law, whom Jerry thought of as his brother Dexter Cline; sister Phyllis Hitchcock and special friends Ray, Plez, Hippie, Gordon and Norman. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at Fresenius Dialysis for their loving care and Dr. Kuhtan, Dr. Klinestiver, Sheila and Sylvia and to John Tudor for going above and beyond. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home.
