Lola Adkins

Lola Adkins 91 of Huntington, WV, widow of Walter J. Adkins passed away Sunday July 28, 2013, in Huntington Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Friday, August 2, 2013, at Chapman’s Mortuary with Pastor Steven Hamrick, and Rev. Keith Leap officiating. Entombment will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park Garden Building Mausoleum. She was born April 28, 1922, in Midkiff, WV, a daughter of the late Jurana and Estelle Davis Adkins. One son Walter J. Adkins, Jr., and one brother Gaylen Adkins also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker, a member of Community of Grace United Methodist Church and the former Southside United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Deborah Adkins of Barboursville; one sister, Janice Adkins of Huntington, and one brother, Louie Adkins also of Huntington. Friends may call from 11:00 to service time Friday at the funeral home.
