Dorothy Jean "Doll" Brunty

Dorothy Jean “Doll” Brunty 61, of Huntington, passed away Saturday June 8, 2013, at her residence. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday June 23, 2013, at Mud River Baptist Church, with Pastor Lee Dean officiating. She was born January 13, 1952, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of Jennings Brunty of South Point, OH, and the late Sadie Osburn Brunty. A sister-in-law, Patricia Lynn Brunty also preceded her in death. Additional survivors include: one daughter, Jennifer Hatten of Ironton, OH; a sister and brother-in-law, Anita and Richard Urban of Huntington; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Cordova “Pete” Brunty and Bradley Brunty also of Huntington, and Michael and Cathy Brunty of South Point, OH; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends after 1:30 pm Sunday at the church.
