Joey Leonard Conard 60, of Huntington, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington, with Pastor Ray Vance officiating. He was born September 1, 1952, in Huntington, a son of the late Elza L. and Erma Lee Adkins Conard. A sister Jo Ann Conard also preceded him in death. He retired from BASF. Survivors include two daughters, Catrina Bird and Stephanie Conard both of Huntington; the mother of his children, Catherine Conard also of Huntington; one sister and brother-in-law, Patricia Conard Cline and husband Timothy of Wayne; 6 grandchildren, James Conard, Dakota Clark, Andrew Clark, Brady Bird, Kameron Chapman and Katie Jo Bird; a niece and her husband, Joanna Cline Sanders and L.R. and a nephew, Jared Cline all of Wayne. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
