Pattie Copley Cutlip
(June 22 1924 - June 16, 2013)



Mrs. Pattie Copley Cutlip, 88, of Huntington, widow of Robert James Cutlip, Sr, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013, at her home with her family. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm, Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Rev. Hubert Harvey officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born June 22, 1924, in Wayne County, WV a daughter of the late Lafe and Victoria Queen Copley. She was the retired owner and operator of Patties Beauty Salon in Huntington. She was member of the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, and #149 Lodge O.E.S., Milton, WV. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Jack Copley Cutlip and her siblings, Ralph, Mary, Jink, Filmore, John B., Tennessee, Wade, Genette, App and Walter. She is survived by: a daughter-and son-in-law, Patricia Jo Fugate and Mark L. Fugate of Huntington; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert James Cutlip II and Rita Cutlip of Versailles, KY; two grandchildren, Julie Elizabeth (Matt) Glockner and Robert James Cutlip III, both of Versailles KY; a great-granddaughter, Allison Taylor Glockner; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 pm until 8 pm Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Chapman’ Mortuary. The family expresses thanks to Hospice of Huntington, Vicki Crook, Margie Copley, and Tina Gillam; and caregiver, Gayle Ferguson. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
