Obituary

Frank Winters Enslow
(December 24, 1937 - July 23, 2014)


Frank Winters Enslow, 76, eldest son of Margaret and F.B. (Pete) Enslow, was born December 24, 1937 and died peacefully on July 23, 2014 in Huntington, WV. Mr. Enslow attended Christchurch School in Christchurch, VA., West Virginia University, and graduated from Ohio University. Upon graduation, he moved to New York City where he began a career in the Publishing Industry including the conception and launch of acclaimed magazine New York Scenes that was eventually bought by Rolling Stones Magazine. Later in life Mr. Enslow returned home to Huntington. He is survived by his sister, Julia Enslow Lord; his brother, Stephen Enslow and his sister-in-law, Marilyn Kopp Enslow along with their children and grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Spring Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. James H. Morgan officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Frank’s memory to Huntington Museum of Art.
