Bernadine Dunagan Pinson
(June 5, 1927 - July 30, 2014)


Bernadine Dunagan-Pinson, 87, of Burlington, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2014, after a long illness. Graveside services only will be conducted at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV, by Rev. Jerry Matt on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11:00 am with viewing from 10:30 am to 11:00 am. Flowers can be sent to Chapman’s Mortuary in Huntington. She was born June 5, 1927 to Laborn and Carrie Dunagan in Huntington, WV. She was retired from the Huntington Barber College where she was a secretary for over 35 years. She was a former member of the Chesapeake Garden Club where she served several terms as President. She was married to Allen Pinson, Sr. who preceded her in death in 1980. They had one son, Allen Pinson Jr. who died September 10, 2010 in Livingston, Montana. She is survived by two sisters, Marceline Pauley and Imogene Dunagan, both of Scott Depot (Teays Valley), WV; a brother, Sherrill Dunagan, of Big Timber, MT; a daughter-in-law, Francine Pinson; three grandchildren, Shane (Sara), Jason (Becca), and Angela (Brett); eight great grandchildren, Alex, Makayla, Nick, Cole, Benna, Clansey, Kinsey and Tessa, all of Livingston, MT; a niece, Rebecca (Bobby) Miller of Huntington; a nephew, Timothy (Paula) Pauley of Barboursville; two nieces, Judy Lucas and Billie Jeanette Vossler, both of Barboursville. She also leaves her son’s best friend, Danny (Patty) Reynolds, of Vinton, OH, and a very close friend and neighbor, Opal Blake, of Burlington.
