Stephen Ray Hardiman, 51, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday July 3, 2014 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Memorial Service will be held 5:00 PM Monday July 7, 2014 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Frederick Hightower officiating. Steve was born October 7, 1962 in Huntington, WV a son of James L. & Ruth Hardiman of Prichard, WV. His wife Kelly Perry Hardiman preceded him in death. Additional survivors include his children, Drew, Gabriel & Mallory Hardiman all of Huntington, siblings, James Hardiman II of Huntington, John (Mary) Hardiman of Prichard, Tom (Lesley) Hardiman of Waynesboro, VA, Cyndi (Tracey) Keith of Huntington and several nieces & nephews. Steve was a talented contractor throughout his entire life winning several awards for his work, including the Historical Restoration Project by Main Street Association. Some of his works include restoration on the Huntington Store, Schlotzsky’s, Rogers Jewelers, Wenders & Mountain State Outfitters to name a few. Steve had a heart of gold that was larger than life. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. Friends may call after 4:00 PM Monday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
