Joycelyn Armstrong George, 83, of Huntington, died Saturday December 5, 2015 at her daughter's residence in Holly, MI. She was born September 27, 1932, in Portersville, WV. a daughter of the late Eugene and Sibyl Reynolds Armstrong. Joyce was a Customer Service Representative for American Electric Power for 35 years, a secretary for A.E.P. Credit Union for many years until her death, and a member of Baptist Temple. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Michele and John Wichorek of Holly, MI; her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Cheryl Bowles of Abingdon, VA; three grandchildren, Evan Bowles and wife, Allison, of Richmond, VA, Eric Bowles of Bristol, TN, and Cory Bowles of Brooklyn, NY; and her great grandchild, Elliott Bowles of Richmond. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, December 11, 2015 at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor J. Andrew Magnusson officiating. Entombment will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Abbey of Peace.
