Eugene Dempsey Paugh, 87, of Lesage, WV, died Saturday December 19, 2015 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday December 22, 2015 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Gorgon Rutherford officiation. Burial will be in Bicker Cemetery, Barkers Ridge, WV. Eugene was born November 25, 1928 in Milton, WV a son of the late Namie White Koontz. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Gary Allen Paugh and Eugene D. Paugh, Jr., a brother, Gary Koontz and a sister, Sue Glover. Eugene was in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from ACF Industries Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Margaret Kimbler Paugh, three daughters, Brenda Stenger of Lesage, Cheryl Mannon-Clay and husband Bryan of Milton and Teresa Katrinic of Huntington, one son, Jennings Paugh and wife Cindy of TN, 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Genesis Health Care of Teays Valley and the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House for all their loving care. Friends may visit with the family after 1:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
