Lenora G. Ross, 79, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday December 31, 2015 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday January 5, 2016 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Rev. Jerry Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Spring Valley Memory Gardens. Lenora was born July 22, 1936 in Wayne County, WV, a daughter of the late, Joe and Elsie Marshall Adkins. She was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband William Basil Ross. Survivors include her son, William Joseph Ross of Huntington, a grandson, William Christopher Ross of Kenova, a granddaughter, Joni Leigh Ross of Huntington, six great grandchildren, a sister, Rena Fay Jones and a brother, David Lee Adkins both of South Point, OH, nieces and nephews, Christi, Shawn, Bobby and Charlie; two sisters-in-law, Carma Lee Pinson and Bernice Mitchell. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Monday January 4, 2016 at Chapman's Mortuary.
