ObituaryMARY FRANCES CLATWORTHY Mrs. Mary Frances Martin Clatworthy, died peacefully and went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 31, 2015. Mary's journey through this life began on August 28, 1931 in Huntington, WV. Mary's Life should be remembered for the joyful times that her family and friends had with her. She has left footprints implanted in our minds, in our hearts, and in the very essence of our being that shall remain there forever. Mary's time on this earth ended after she won her battle with cancer. A battle she quietly, but bravely fought with the support of her loving children and large extended family. Her journey on this earth ended at the age of 84 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Cross Roads United Methodist Church, Huntington, with Pastor Bill DeMoss and Pastor Joseph Hill officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. She was the daughter of the late John and Delphia Rowsey Martin. Her husband, James William Clatworthy; two sons, Richard Clatworthy and James William Clatworthy, Jr; a daughter, Mary Theresa Clatworthy Brumfield; a sister, Beulah Markins; two brothers, Bill Martin and Glen Edward Martin, and a son-in-law, John E. Brown, also preceded her in death. She was a retired technician with Adel Fasteners and was a member of Cross Roads United Methodist Church. Survivors include: three daughters and a son-in-law, Brenda Clatworthy Harper, Cheryl and Tim Goheen, and Diane Brown, all of Huntington; four sons and three daughters-in-law, David and Nancy Clatworthy of Huntington, Thomas Clatworthy and Debi Martin Barrett of Argillite, KY, Jerry and Candie Clatworthy of Huntington, and Robert and Karen Clatworthy of Hurricane, WV; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Downey of Huntington; two brothers, John Martin, Jr. of Florida and Robert Martin of Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington and after 10:00 am Thursday at the church.
