Dennis Adkins, II, 72, of Huntington, died Saturday, July 28, 2018 in St. Mary's Medical Center. Born August 10, 1945, in Logan, WV, he was the son of the late Dennis and June Crawford Adkins. A brother-in-law, Larry Rowe also preceded him in death. He retired from the Cabell County Board of Education as a computer consultant, having worked nearly 50 years at the Board Survivors include one sister, Alice Rowe of Huntington; a nephew and his wife, Michael J. and Kara Rowe of New Cumberland, WV; two great-nieces, Abigail and Jakoba Rowe, and a great-nephew, Caleb Rowe. Also surviving are his many friends and co-workers at the Board of Education. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
