Thurman Lyle "Archie" Perry, 69, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, July 29, 2018, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born January 19, 1949 in Cabell County, WV a son of the late Mabel Black Wintz. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, George Everett and Edith Black and a brother, Clarence Black. He was retired from the service department at Davis Chrysler and was a member of First Guyandotte Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife, Alice Collins Perry; his children, Brian Perry, Mary Perry, and Billy Perry and his wife Shelly, all of Huntington; his grandchildren, Ali Kate, Abi Grace, and Eli Perry; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Cathy and Roger Chapman of Ona, WV and Brenda and Mike Rubel, Connie Browning, and Alice Blevins, all of Lesage, WV; a brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Sue Wintz of Lesage; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Scott Duncan officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
