Obituary



NINA JEWELL CLARK, 89, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Friday, July 27, 2018, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Dr. William Wilson officiating. Entombment will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. She was born June 7, 1929, in McDowell County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Edward Ebb and Lydia Shrader Brewster. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Calvin C. Clark; three sisters, Margaret L. D'Agistino, Ima F. Smith and Delores V. Evans; a brother, Kyle Edward Brewster; a sister-in-law, Stella Brewster; and a brother-in-law, Glen Raymond Collins. She was a retired Registered Nurse, having worked in the newborn nursery at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Jewell was a member of Cross Roads United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Calvin Todd and Johnnie Sue Clark; four grandchildren with former daughter-in-law Kimberly Will Clark, Derek Todd (Amanda) Clark, Blake Joseph Clark, Cade Alexander Clark and Zoe Dawn Clark; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Charlotte I. Collins and Brenda Carol (James) Wintermute; a brother, Wayne Douglas Brewster; special sisters-in-law Carrie "Sis" Lutz, Barbara Clark and Peggy Brewster; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Chapman's Mortuary.
