Janice Meadows Johnson, 82, of Huntington, widow of Jimmie J. Johnson, died Thursday, July 12th at her home and is now resting in the arms of Jesus. She was born November 6, 1935, in Huntington. She was the daughter of the late Nelson and Naomi Spurlock Meadows. She was a retired garment worker for the Huntington Dress Factory and a life time member of VFW Post 9738 Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her brothers Ronald and Paul Gene, and her son, Tony. Survivors include daughter, Ressa (Robbie) Wilson and son, John; one sister, Stella Evans; and sister-in-law, Sue Conrad Meadows; grandchildren, Casey, Kenny (Gina), Kristen and Sarah; special great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Makenzie, and Logan with a new great granddaughter, Lexie Leigh, on the way; and a host of life-long friends. Special thanks to Hospice of Huntington for their loving care and support. Funeral Services will be noon Monday July 16, 2018 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Barboursville, with Pastor Larry Greene officiating. The family will welcome friends one hour prior to services.
