Obituary

Barbara Nell (Williams) Price of Huntington died on Saturday July 14, 2018 at her residence after a courageous 24-month battle with cancer. Born November 20, 1940, in Fulton, Kentucky, to the late Carl and Mary Williams, Barbara graduated from Huntington High School and attended Marshall University. After retiring as an Executive Administrative Assistant at lnco Alloys International (Special Metals) with over 33 years of service, she enjoyed her time at home with a good book, trying new recipes and having monthly luncheons out with her "gal" groups. She was a long-standing member of Cross Roads United Methodist Church. Surviving is her husband and best friend of 59 years, Benjamin M. Price, son Jeffrey B. Price of Huntington, and one brother, Hugh Williams and wife Chris of Louisville, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Kelli Michelle Price in 2017. She also counts as family her many wonderful friends, too many to name, especially Ruth Rimmer Lewis and Zona Swann who were like sisters to her for over 50 years. Also, Dick and Brenda Loudermilk who were so caring during her illness. Visitation will be one hour prior to a 2:00 PM service Wednesday July 18, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington, presided by the Rev. Dr. William Wilson. Burial will follow in Woodmere Cemetery.
