Obituary
Hubert Franklin Fuller, 98, of Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday July 18, 2018 at his residence. Hubert was born April 15, 1920 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Jonas C. and Naomi Cole Fuller. He worked in the Electronics Department at Sears and retired from being owner and operator of Winslow Beauty Supply. He was a U.S. Army veteran during WWII, he was in Patton's 3rd Army 147th signal Corps 7th armored division. For all who knew him, know he "won the 2nd World War". He was an avid Hew-Haw fan, had a great wit and sense of humor, he seemed to know "something about everything", a Jack of all Trades. He was also the grand Marshall for the Ceredo-Kenova Veterans Parade for years. He was a member of the Church of Christ since 1959. Also preceding him death was his wife of 73½ years, Anna Louise Fuller, and four brothers, Marvin, Paul, James and Don. Survivors include three children, Kenneth Lester (Janet) Fuller of Huntington, Joyce Elaine (Ronald D.) Ross of Wayne, and Anita (Benjamin) Poe of Narrows, VA, 10 grandchildren, Kenneth (Renee) Fuller, Jr., Michael Scott (Terri) Fuller, Kevin (Juli) Ross, Michael (Kerry) Ross, Craig (Jodi) Ross, Jennifer Henderson, Rachael (Jeffrey) Clarke, Benjamin (Christin) Poe IV, Rebecca (Chad) Burch and Martha Poe and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Saturday July 21, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with his son Kenneth Fuller and Minister Jeff Garrett officiating. There will be a private committal service at a later date at Ridgelawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 4:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
