Michael Franklin Bias, 63, of Lakeland, FL, formerly of Huntington, died Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Lakeland Regional Hospital. He was born October 7, 1954 in Huntington a son of the late James Evermont and Florence Isabel Austin Bias. In addition to his parents Michael had an infant sister, Pamela Loraine Bias and a brother, Eric Wade Bias, Sr., precede him in death. He was a former carnival worker for H.T. Cole Shows. Survivors include a daughter, Jessica Lynn Bias of Little River, SC; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Charles Blake of Huntington and Tammy and Jerry Matney of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; two grandsons, Conner and Gavin; and very special friends, Jessica Kimble and Linda Hathcock. Per his request he will be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
