James Greggory LaFon, 60, of Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Greg was born January 23, 1958 in Huntington the son of the late James W. and Sylvia Stewart LaFon. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Michael LaFon. Survivors include: his son Jeremy Stewart LaFon and wife Rachel and daughter Carey Marie Slash and husband T.J. Slash; one sister Pama Poindexter and husband Bernie Poindexter; eight grandchildren, Austin LaFon, Lane LaFon, Cole LaFon, Shelby LaFon, Bella Merritt, McKhale LaFon, Tianna Slash and Braelyn Slash; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. Memorial services will be conducted 4:00 pm Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Dennis Morrello officiating.
