Forrest Carroll "Bob" McCaffrey, 81, of Huntington, husband of Barbara Ann Gwinn McCaffrey, died Sunday, September 16, 2018 at his residence. He was born March 3, 1937 in Chesapeake, OH, a son of the late Charles Carroll and Hester McCallister McCaffrey. Additional family that has preceded him in death are a son, Myron Lee McCaffrey; and two sisters, Mary Ethel Ferguson and Betty Jean Watts. He was a former foreman and installer for Huntington Awning. In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Lora Yapp and her husband, Mel Yapp of South Point, Oh, and Carolyn Mercado of Hamlin, WV; a son, Robert Lee McCaffrey of Huntington; a brother, Charles Larry McCaffrey of Huntington; and six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Tuesday September 25, 2018 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington.
