Obituary



Beverly Jane Prout, 66, of Huntington, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, September 20, 2018, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Monsignor Dean Borgmeyer, V.F. officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. Beverly was born June 3, 1952 in Huntington a daughter of the late Preston Cabell and Lucille Ratcliffe Prout. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Ida Wallace Ratcliffe; her paternal grandparents, Harry G. and Mary Cabell Prout; and a great nephew, Brandon Ross. She was the office manager for Dr. Touma for 40 years and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include: a sister, Carol Prout Alpigini and her husband Lance of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers, Henry Eddie Prout and Michael Lee Prout, both of Huntington; two nieces, Denise Trogdon and her husband John of Altamonte Springs, FL and Erin Ponder of Jacksonville, FL; three great nieces, Carley Ponder, Kara Henning and her husband Quinn, and Hollie Ross-Williams and her husband Alex Williams; a great great nephew, Ryan Henning; a great great niece, Eden Espass; and her extended family of very close friends and coworkers. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington.
