Florence Isabelle Bias, 83, of Huntington, died Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 6, 1934 in Austin, TX., a daughter of the late Joel Frank and Margaret Annette Kuckelhan Austin. She also was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Pamela Loraine Bias; a son, Eric Wade Bias, Sr.; and a sister, Mattie Dean Hammons. She was a food service worker having worked at Mildred Mitchell Bateman Hospital. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Charles Blake of Huntington, and Tammy and Jerry Matney of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; a son, Michael Bias of Lakeland, FL; a sister and brother-in-law, Marlene and Harvey Whittington of California; a very special friend, Cheryl Adams of Huntington; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family and no services are scheduled.
