GWENDOLYN PAULETTE ADKINS, 47, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away March 22, 2018, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at the River Cities Lighthouse Church by Pastor Carol Lowe. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock. She was born January 21, 1971, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Francis Ashworth Vernatt. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Michael Adkins; one daughter, Gwendolyn Michael Summer-Day Adkins; several sisters, brothers and other family and friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the River Cities Lighthouse Church, Huntington. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements.
