Obituary

William Joseph Kairy Sr.
(February 24, 1042 - March 6, 2018)

WILLIAM JOSEPH KAIRY SR., 76, of Barboursville, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Funeral Mass will be held at noon Monday, March 12, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Monsignor Dean Borgmeyer officiating. Burial will be in the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, W.Va. He was born February 24, 1942, in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Joseph Frank Kairy and Laura Vada Gaca Kairy. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a retired systems analyst with Hughes Aircraft. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Orange County, California. He is survived by his wife, Doreen Ann Przybyla Kairy; two daughters, Janice Kairy and her husband Michael Galarotti of Las Vegas, Nev., and Laura Anne Ross and her husband David of Barboursville; two sons, Byllee Kairy and his wife Heather of Napa, Cali., and Christopher Kairy and his wife Treina of Las Vegas, Nev.; seven grandchildren, Emily, Joseph, Shauna, Elizabeth, Mason, Attison and Chelsey. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, with the procession to the church leaving at 11:30 a.m.
