Norman Gail Wilkinson
(March 15, 1935 - March 26, 2018)



Norman Gail Wilkinson, 83, of Huntington, WV, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 26, 2018. Memorial services will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2018 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel with Pastor Heath Jenkins officiating. He was born March 15, 1935 in West Hamlin, WV, a son of the late Earl B. and Audrey Hager Wilkinson. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Zeke "Nello" Wilkinson and one sister, Wanda Scites. He played football for Guyan Valley High School as a tight end. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the US Navy on the U.S.S. Merapi. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 9738 in Guyandotte. He retired from Eagle Distributing. He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Sandra Gray Wilkinson; one daughter, Kimberly Wilkinson of Huntington; one son, Rick Wilkinson of Florida; two granddaughters, Ashley and Courtney; and two great- grandsons, Christopher and Cannon. The family will receive friends from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
