Juanita G. Fink
(January 5, 1919 - December 20, 2012)


Juanita G. Fink, 93, of Proctorville, OH, formerly of Huntington, passed away Thursday December 20, 2012, at the Admiral Health Care, Proctorville, OH. She was born January 5, 1919, in Willow Wood, OH, a daughter of the late Charles Edward and Lettie Eugenia Watrous Gruber. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, John Robert Pitser and James H. Fink; a sister, Edith Tucker; and two brothers, Fred William Gruber and Charles Edward Gruber, Jr. She was a graduate of Marshall College with a B.S. in medical technology. She retired from the V.A. Medical Center as a medical technologist, and was a member of the Westmoreland Baptist Church. She has requested donations be made to the Westmoreland Baptist Church or the Rome Volunteer Fire Department in her name. Survivors include a daughter, Joanna Petty of Middletown, VA; a son, John Arthur Pitser of Huntington; three grandchildren and their spouses, Jo Ellen and Dr. Tim Gardner of Norwich, VT, Laura and Shawn Goodfellow of New Haven, VT, and John and Julie Petty of Elkton, MD; five great grandchildren, Matthew Gardner, Jack Gardner, Hannah Gardner, Maxwell Goodfellow, and Luke Goodfellow; two nieces, Mrs. Gay Brunton of Huntington, and Faye Henderickson of Florida; and special caregivers, Beverly and Howard Spears and Heather Ramey. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Chapman’s Mortuary with Pastor C.J. Adkins officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services Sunday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
