Mr. Philip Max Meade, 71, of Huntington, husband of Carol Scarberry Meade, went to be home with his Lord Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Rev. Larry Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. He was born December 26, 1940 in Wayne County, a son of the late Polly (Meade) and Elmer Fields. He was a former employee of Adel Fasteners and Rubberlite, and served with the U. S. Air Force. Additional survivors include his children and spouses; Misty and Glenn Harrell of South Point, OH, Rhonda and Bryan Combs of Huntington, Kimberly and Dan Hildebrecht of Lynchburg, OH, Michael Meade of West Union, OH, Tracy and Danny Burns of South Point, OH; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren: and his dog and best friend, “Happy” Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from 6 pm until 8 pm Monday, December 3, 2012.
