A very delightful person, Bernice L. Moore Adkins, 74, of South Point, OH, passed away, Tuesday September 25, 2012 in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday September 29, 2012 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with her son-in-law Ron Smith officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Chesapeake, OH. Bernice was born September 10, 1938 in South Point, OH, a daughter of the late James M. & Elizabeth Miller Moore. She was preceded in death by her brother, James L. Moore and a grandson Jesse P. Adkins. Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Porter Adkins, one daughter & son-in-law, Rachel & Ron Smith of Cape Coral, FL, three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles D. & Boni Adkins and Paris & Maxine Adkins all of Huntington, Wendell P. & Sue Adkins of South Point, Oh, two sisters & brothers-in-law, Alyce & William Davis and Ann & Gene Melba all of South Point, 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
