Emma Lou Toney, 71, of Huntington, WV, formerly of Cleveland, OH, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012, in Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington. She was born March 18, 1941 in Spurlocksville, WV a daughter of the late Garfield and Ethel Whitten Bays. A daughter, Carolyn Ann Toney, also preceded her in death. She was a caregiver at Franklin Plaza Nursing Home in Cleveland and was a greeter at McDonald’s in Huntington. Survivors include: two daughters, Nancy Adkins and Rebecca Toney, both of Harts, WV; four sons, Herman Toney, Jr. and Jeffery Allen Toney, both of Cleveland, OH, Randy Lee Toney of Huntington and Fulton Harold Toney of Harts; a sister, Fran Walls of Cleveland, OH; 21 grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date. Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
