Nadine Jesse Ward
(August 13, 1922 - September 27, 2012)



Nadine Jesse Ward, 90, of Kernersville, NC, formerly of Huntington, died Thursday September 27, 2012 in Kernersville. Funeral service will be conducted 1:30 PM Sunday September 30, 2012 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Rev. Leo Skaggs officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Nadine was born August 13, 1922 in Road Fork, KY (Pike Co.), a daughter of the late Grover & Hattie Reed Staton. She was a member of The First Guyandotte Baptist Church. She was preceded in death her first husband, Harold Jesse and her second husband, Raymond T. Ward and a sister, Helen McCoy Duke, three brothers, Medley, Ervin & William Staton. Survivors include three sons & daughters-in-law, Mark & Sherry Jesse of Kernersville, NC, Gary Patrick & Donna Jesse of Milton, WV, and Terry & Ann Jesse of Columbus, OH, five grandchildren, David Jesse of Kernersville, NC, Scott & Shawn Jesse both of Columbus, Jodie Jesse Williams of Springboro, OH, and Christopher Jesse of Lakeland, FL., three great-grandchildren, Karis & Caden Jesse and Emily Sutton. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday September 29, 2012.
