Kenneth Joe "Joey" Morrison

Kenneth Joe “Joey” Morrison, 61, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday September 12, 2012 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born August 10, 1951 in Huntington, a son of the late Marian C. Heard Morrison. A brother, Paul Kendrick, also preceded him in death. Joey always loved to work as a paper sorter at Goodwill Industries. He was a member of the Grace Gospel Good Shepherd’s class, and he dearly loved shopping at Kroger’s, First Street, where he really enjoyed all the ladies in the office and cashiers. Survivors include three sisters and a brother-in-law, Connie Morrison of Huntington, Elsa Marie Smith of Eugene, OR., and Delores Mae and Bruce McConnell of Mesa. AZ; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Monday September 17, 2012, at Chapman’s Mortuary with Pastor Jerry Matt officiating. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Friends may call one hour prior to services Monday at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington.
