Brenda Sue Aguirre
(February 22, 1952 - September 5, 2012)



Brenda Sue Aguirre, 61, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday September 5, 2012, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday September 9, 2012, at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Pastor John Duffy officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Kenova, WV. Brenda was born February 22, 1951, in Buskirk, KY, a daughter of Curtis L. Pelfrey and Mary Evelyn Pelfrey, who considered Brenda “Her Best Friend”, of Huntington, WV. She was a former waitress and home health care aide in the Huntington area. She had lost one brother, James Howard Hatfield. In addition to her parents, survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, David Lee and Michelle McCloud and Brandon Joseph and Irma Aguirre, all of Grand Rapids, MI; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sheila Rooks of South Point, OH, and Sherry and Tom Hardesty of Huntington; a brother, Frank Hatfield of Huntington; a step sister, Debbie Hardesty and her husband, Carl Hardesty of Akron, OH; a step brother, Clifford Doug Pelfrey and wife Sue Pelfrey of Huntington; four grandsons and one great grandson; and many nieces and nephews, that she loved dearly. Friends may call 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington.
