Marc Lindsey Carter, 44, of Huntington, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013. Marc was preceded in death by his father, Lindsey Carter and grandparents, Jack and Mary Lemaster and Harry and Ruby Carter. Marc is survived by his mother, whom he loved dearly, Martha Carter. Also left to carry on his memory, his sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Willie Wilson; his nieces and nephews, Lyndsay and Clark Wilson, whom he was so proud of and were like his own; Emilee and Lee Lee Miller and Stephen Wilson; his beloved pets, Daisy and Jack; and his Uncle Danny and Aunt Sharon, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins, one of which was Stephen Horn, whom he thought of as a brother. Marc was employed at Wooten Machine Company where he was fondly known as “Squeaky” by his coworkers. Marc lived life to the fullest. His hobbies were his passion: fishing, fantasy football, and “his” team the Detroit Lions. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Woodmere Memorial Park Abbey of Peace with William C. Wilson III officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, and from 1:30 to 2:00 PM Thursday at the cemetery.
