George Ivan Holley
(August 16, 1936 - December 19, 2013)



George Ivan Holley, 77, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born August 16, 1936 a son of the late William Clayton and Georgia Barnett Holley. A sister, Gerri Patterson, also preceded him in death. He was a retired employee of the Ohio River Company and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 93 of Kenova, WV. Survivors include: a special friend who took care of him, Linda Holley of Lesage, WV; two daughters and a son-in-law, Karen McClellan of Huntington and Linda and Brent Massie of Prichard, WV; two sons, Greg Holley of Huntington and Brad McReynolds and wife, Lynn of Santa Anna, CA; seven grandchildren, Brian and Angie McClelland, of Huntington, Brittany Massie of Prichard; Melissa and Chris Adkins, Patrick Holley and Bethany Holley, all of Huntington, and Scott McReynolds and Taylor McReynolds, both of California; two great grandchildren, Emilie McClellan and Luke Adkins, both of Huntington; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Faye and Sam Clay of Spring Hill, FL, Kay Blankenship of Huntington, and Carol and Charlie Arms of Grafton, OH; and a brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Linda Holley of Huntington; and his dog, “Buddy”. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, December 21, 2013, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Brother Dale Barnett officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 PM Saturday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
