John Brandon McComas, 30, of Huntington, WV, died Saturday, December 21, 2013, in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Bob Hogsett officiating. Entombment will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. John was born September 9, 1983 in Huntington, WV a son of Angela Carol McComas Dunfee of Huntington and the late James Scott Hesson. He was employed at Special Metals. Survivors include his wife Shay McComas; one unborn daughter, Ella Elise McComas; two sons, John Preston McComas and Brycen Cole McComas at home; 5 brothers and sisters, Juleah McComas (Kaleb) Dotson of Ceredo, WV, Alesha Nichole Ray, Brian Keith Ray III, Blade Garrett Ray and Devin Scott Dunfee all of Huntington; one niece, Lilly Dotson of Ceredo; two nephews, Nolan Dotson of Ceredo and Austin Alden of Huntington; two special Dads Scott Dunfee and Jeff Ray both of Huntington; maternal grandfather John E. McComas of Huntington; and an uncle Shane McComas of Minn. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from noon until 2:00 PM Tuesday.
