Bessie Crislip
(November 3, 1917 - October 30, 2014)



Bessie Crislip 96, of Huntington, WV, widow of Cecil H. Crislip, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 in Heartland of Riverview South Point, OH. She was a homemaker. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Monday, November 3, 2014 at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Pastor Tim Arthur officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born November 2, 1917, in Nebo, Clay County, WV, a daughter of the late Anise and Mahala Carpenter Burnside. Also preceding her in death were, four sisters, three brothers, a son-in-law and a grandchild. She was a member of 26th Street Baptist Church and the Burman Ashworth Bible Class. Survivors include three daughters, Gladyes and Charles Saban of Cleveland, OH, Joyce Cremeans of Huntington, Norma and Roger Holley also of Huntington; two sons, Darrell and Sharon Crislip and Tony and Hessie Crislip all of Huntington; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
