Dorothy Ann Lecky
(January 23, 1931 - October 27, 2014)



Dorothy Ann Lecky, 83, of Huntington, WV, passed away Monday, October 27, 2014, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. She was born January 23, 1931 in St. Louis, MO a daughter of the late Walter Fred and Lydia Hill Weber. Her husband, Bobb H. Lecky; a daughter, Michelle Lecky; and a son-in-law, Benjamin L. Chapman III, also preceded her in death. She was a member of Beverly Hills United Methodist Church. Survivors include: two daughters, Jacqueline L. Guthrie and Pamela S. Chapman, both of Huntington; five grandchildren, Jason (Amanda Ramey) Ball, Benjamin (Andrea) Chapman IV, Lydia Chapman, Lance Guthrie, and Klara Guthrie, all of Huntington; two great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Gill and Eli Jones, both of Huntington; an expected great grandchild, Charles Lucas Ball; two sisters, Lois Sheffler of St. Louis, MO and Delores Dunwoody of VA; a brother, Stanley (Beverly) Weber of IL; several nieces and nephews; and a special adopted daughter, Janet Varnes of Huntington. The family would like to thank the staff of the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, for their loving care. Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Friday, October 31, 2014, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Ralph Sager officiating. Burial will be at a later date at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday at the mortuary.
