Obituary

Anna T. Moore
(October 1, 1925 - October 8, 2014)



Anna T. Moore, 89, of Huntington, widow of Edgar Allen Moore, died Wednesday October 8, 2014 at her residence. She was born October 1, 1925, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Okey Kyle and Nannie Bell Blake Turner. Ann was a retired office manager for the Western Southern Life Insurance Company with 50 years’ service, a former Kentucky Colonel, and attended the First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Paul Donald and Betty Turner of South Point, OH; nieces, Karen Loar and husband, James, of Hurricane, WV, and Robyn Dilley and husband, Roger, of Ona; and a great nephew, Brandon Bias and wife, Hannah, also of Ona. The family wishes to give a special thanks to her care givers, Aldena, Belle, and Margo, her hospice nurses, Vicki and Trish, and special friends, Doctors Jim and Rhonda Stamm. She asked that donations be made to the Cabell Wayne Animal Shelter in her name. Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 am Friday October 10, 2014, at the Abby of Remembrance, Woodmere Memorial Park, with Dallas Moore officiating. Entombment will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Corridor of Faith. Friends may call after 10:30 am Friday at the cemetery.
