Roger Lee Mynes
(July 14, 1928 - October 6, 2014)

Roger Lee Mynes, 86, of Huntington, WV, died Monday October 6, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday October 10, 2014 at Christ Temple Church with Pastor Chuck Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Roger was born July 14, 1928 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Ruby & Eliza Mae Moore Mynes. He was a retired carpet installer and attended Christ Temple Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Mynes, three brothers, Ralph, Raymond & Robert Mynes. Survivors include his wife Juanita Mynes, two daughters, Carolyn Clark of Denham Springs LA, and Visa Stidham of Huntington, two sons, Kelly Mynes of Lapeer MI, & Rickey Mynes of Huntington, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday October 9, 2014.
